I believe everything has a soul. With this faith, I create.
The first part
I perceive each of my paintings as a piece composed of three parts. The essence of the artwork itself is formed by the soul of the subject, which initially approaches me as a timid stranger. Through observation and a dialogue that unfolds on the canvas, we get to know each other, and the stranger becomes an old friend. It is through this unique relationship that develops over time that I am able to capture the life and emotions of the subject.
The second part
I don't perceive the conversation that unfolds on the canvas merely as a story told by the subject. It is a dialogue between us, and as I transfer the subject onto the canvas, my own emotions and thoughts become intertwined in the creation. The artworks thus become, to some extent, self-portraits that will forever be a part of me.
The third soul
One part without the other would make no sense, and thus the creation is not truly complete until the observer's conciousness is reflected in it - Your conciousness. It is essential for everyone to seek their own meaning and emotions in art, to resonate with the piece. In this process, we may experience moments of mutual understanding through the visual experience, or we may even find ourselves in disagreement. Both outcomes are valid and valuable. As long as the piece makes an impact on You, I have fulfilled my role successfully.
